I am also not on a team! That weekend is my daughter's birthday so I will be in and out all weekend.

Don't feel left out, there are many of us who are not on a team. I have spoken to many players who did not join a team.

We will have fun visiting the rooms!

I'm not on a water team. I considered it, but had no idea what it involved (I was very, very green at the time - and I don't mean seasick green either lol). Finally when info was available, you were required to make like an instant decision (at least that what it seemed like to me). I spent hours collecting up and down slide pieces so that I might be able to participate, but alas I did not.

So you are not alone. I'm looking forward to all the greats rides, and wish everyone that's spent so much time and effort designing and building them (and I'm sure spent lots of credits on them) the best of luck in the competition!

By the way, how is everyone doing with their projects? Is anyone finished? Are you excited about the approaching contest, or are you totally burned out and just wish is was over? Any info (not secret info, just what you would like to share) would be appreciated for those of us, "left out".

I think they mean Slide Comp. Team.
I WAS on a team but VMK never approved or denied the team, now they say all registrations have been accepted so I guess that we didn't get in

A slide competition team. They are holding another event much like the Everest ride event, but this time the focus is on the water park rooms and slide pieces.

Coriander and myself have also decided not to be on teams, HOWEVER:
[AD] We have formed the unofficial Out To Sea Slide Testing Company. For a very modest fee ("Thanks" will do) we will stress test your team's competition room.[/AD]

I'm only a few weeks here (just over two) and am saving my 12K for getting teleport and bat. Sounds like fun but with all of the DC I put up with even though my system is no slouch... I'm lucky to get into rooms with a wait.

I did not get on a team because I usually can't get on VMK on the weekends. I'm at work. But I hope a Dis team wins. If anyone needs some supplies let us know we can work some trades.

I'm not on a team this time around either but the Zeta's were kind enough to let me be their mascot! The timing didn't work out for me is the main reason I didn't join. I have missed building a ride room though. Seems like besides seeing and talking to friends, building rooms is the most fun for me in vmk. I did build a Tiki Tiki Time Out Water Park though, if anyone wants to see it give a holler!

I'm not. I was going to make a team of myself and my mules, but I never got around to it. I for one didn't want to be on a team because, I didn't want to be tied down to something. I like being able to ride everyone's rides all weekend and hang out in the Base Camps or what ever they call them now.

I like your tiki slide room. I can get my "iced Mocha" fix there.
