Yes they were mine originally and I said there was nothing wrong with not liking it But the fact that you said that it's Adam fans who were being catty yet you're "quoting" me in a blatantly catty way is HYSTERICAL! And someone on the other thread said Adam should come out in drag because America already hates him and has had enough of him. Granted, I think that same person was 12 but my reply was that you know what, he should come out in drag and be fabulous Seriously, I love the glam thing.

I am not a fan. I know he has talent, but the high-pitched shrieking and sticking his tongue out while he is shrieking really turns me off.

And I LOVE rock! I just saw Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction in concert this week!

But Adam is not for me.

I'm a big fan of rock but don't care for Adam's screaming. It doesn't even come close to Steven Tyler, who he was compared to one time... Granted Danny's scream was alot worse than that....

Honey, you are being generous. Whenever someone uses the term "haters," I am convinced the junior high girls are having a slumber party. As far as "obsession" is concerned, SOMEONE on this thread is obsessed alright...... But heaven knows they'll never recognize it.

Two thoughts on Adam:

- He's got a classic countertenor voice, very broadway, very opera. Honestly he has one of the stronger countertenors I've heard, and I make an effort to see a lot of opera! It's a polarizing style. Some love it ... some hate it ... very few are neutral.

- The most powerful aspect of Adam is that he is a chameleon. Staring at the guy now, you'd never know it, but he naturally has strawberry-blonde hair. His natural build is very football-player, and he is clearly intentionally thinning himself out. He is simultaneously very effeminate and very facially handsome, which makes him nonthreatening. His is a look that is very easy to dramatically switch. This sets him WAY apart from virtually any other past contestant.

I think he is the most talented on the show. I LOVE his singing. I don't think it is shreiking when he sings. First of all, it is not "shreiking" when it is in PERFECT pitch and tone. Do you understand how hard it is to make the sounds he makes? He does that during heavy metal songs or during a classic rock song that he has put his own "heavy" twist on. I think he changes songs and style to his own better than anyone who has ever been on the show. I think he deserves to win.

With all that said, I still don't love him. I am just not that excited about him like I was Chris Daultry or Bo Bice. He is extremely effeminate. While I love how he can change style easily, the reason he can do so is because he is a total theatre geek. He comes off as a little effeminate boy who is playing dress up (which he admits he did all the time as a child) and not a man who is a true rocker. I still think he is as talented or more talented than alot of true rockers, but he just doesn't "look the part" .

So I guess I think he is amazingly talented and I would be happy for him to win, I think I will vote for him, but he is just not "my kinda man" so I don't get all excited about him when he comes on. He is not attractive to me. But I still like to hear him sing. I guess, I like to listen, but don't want to look.

Not lovin Adam either. I think he has talent, but he's just not my cup of tea most of the time. I think it is the sticking out the tongue thing that messes me up when I watch him. He is just a little over the top for me.

Of course, I am a little biased since I am from Arkansas. GO KRIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is such a cute, sweet guy. He is also very active in his church (like someone mentioned about Danny) I hope that all the Danny lovers will convert over for Kris this week and put him through to win!

Last week I thought the judges' choices pretty much sucked for all three, and the contestants' choices were much better. Especially Kris. I must confess when Ryan was interviewing him before he sang and he said he was going to sing Heartless by Kanye West, I just shook my head in disbelief. I was sure it was going to be awful, but man was I wrong! He was fantastic! I hope he does just as well this week.
