Anyone NOT like the food they had at their reception??

I was looking at having my reception at the Living Seas Salon but my only reservation is that I've eaten at Coral Reef twice and disliked the food both times. I'm nervous that the food quality would be the same for my reception. But I've never heard of anyone not liking what they had served at their reception so just curious to see if anyone would go back and change the food at their reception if they could.

Nope wouldn’t change a thing...the food was perfect...
I dont know how the Living Seas works but would you be using the restaurant kitchen or Epcot catering??...because the quality with catering is wonderful

Even though the reception location is in the Living Seas area, it is not associated with the Coral Reef restuarant at all. The Catering staff at Epcot does the food for the private events.

Thanks! That's great to know. I just assumed that they used the Coral Reef restaurant for the catering. But you know what they say about assuming .

DD is having hers at the Living Seas and we worried about the same thing. We did a tasting of her proposed menu and everything was wonderful! The food definitely comes from Epcot Catering, not the Living Seas kitchen.

We had our reception at LS last week and the food was phenomenal! We didn't even do a food tasting. PM me if you want the menu... we borrowed from the buffet menu of a Disney restaurant we really liked.
