This is not for those that like it, different strokes for different folks, the only thing we liked were the pictures we took. The hot choc. and cookies were average, and we did not ride anything new, we had ridden everything already. I could not enjoy the parade the kid was acting up at the time. Hey, i tried it and all i will say is i will not do it again, no regrets, just found that it was not for us. like epcot, we do not really care for it. Either

I liked MNSSHP MUCH better.

The only bonus of MVMCP was being able to ride the rides that were waaaaay to packed to get in during the day and to ride our favorites several times.

Hallowishes is AWESOME compared to Holiday Wishes, the candy is much better than so-so cookies and so-so hot cocoa. The Villians are way better than the regular characters in their winter gear.

I dunno, I just really preferred the Halloween party over the Christmas party!

ETA: But I do  Epcot!

I have to agree that I wasnt as impressed with MVMCP as I had wanted to be. It was something to do once, even though DD and I are doing it again this year.

The only reason being so she can ride her goofys barnstormer over, over and over again. She had 5 choices and drat she chose MVMCP again. I am not recommending that people pay the extra to do this.

MVMCP is awesome!!!

The forecourt show and T'was the night before christmas shows are broadway quality. The parade is so magical, fun and festive!!! :)

Compared to the rest of our trip MVMCP was way more crowded. We didn't get to do much, the parade and fireworks took up most of our time. We did ride a few rides though. I might do it again, but i'd really like to try MNSSHP.

I went to MVMCP twice last December, and it was OK, but I am in no rush to return. The shows were great, though, and the parade was cool. But I felt there was no goal to the party, and parts of the park were just dead (ToonTown was eerily quiet). And I found myself bored at times, as nothing new to do or go see. And I guess the big one for me is that there were no new, very rare characters out. I think much of the party wasn't too much different than a normal park day.

But MNSSHP - that's a different story! Many people dress up in awesome costumes, so it's fun checking everyone out! There are characters out that are super rare and hardly seen any other time. And you get to trick-or-treat around the park, and it's fun to see what candy you get! The parade had a great, fun song last year! The music piped in around the park really gets you into the mood. The atmosphere is very different than a normal park day - even riding the bus in your costume is fun! :)

This year I am thinking of sneaking down for a quick trip for MNSSHP, as I can't wait to go again! But no plans to do MVMCP soon.

DH has done MVMCP twice (two years). Me once. Can't say I am in a big hurry to return either.
MNSSHP is much better.
Anyone in MK Christmas week pretty much experiences MVMCP.
Like someone wrote, the cookies and beverages aren't anything to brag about. Good, but not special. And the mix is just powder Nestles anyone can buy.
The photos get chinzier as the years go on. Now they give you just copies of the same, rather than various settings or poses. And many collected badges that they stopped handing out.
No thanks.
My favorite part is the marching toy soldiers. But that is too brief.

Dissapointed in MVMCP and have gone several times. LOVE MNSSHP and that has become an annual tradition.

We were extremely disappointed in it. I think if you went before Christmas, and it was your only chance for Christmas activities it would be fun. However, we were used to the Halloween party - where ONLY the people who go to the party get to experience the party stuff. When we went to MVMCP, it was the last one before Christmas week. Once Christmas week started, everything we paid extra for was going on for free for everyone. We felt like we had wasted money almost. The only thing we got that everyone else didn't get was the picture, cookies and hot chocolate. I mean, it as an okay party, but NOTHING like MNSSHP. Now that is a fabulous party.

It's OK - wasn't really impressed, especially for what you have to pay to get in. Won't do it again, but really want to go to MNSSHP!

We went last year for the first time and can honestly say that I was somewhat disappointed. Part of it may have been we went to the last one of the season and it seemed more crowded than I was led to belive. For the money, I could have gone to a couple of sit down restaurants and enjoyed it better. The photo session was very nice and we enjoyed the pictures. As far as the overall party, I thought it wasn't worth the money spent. Not only did we pay for 4 tickets to do the MVMCP, we also ate at Libery Tree Tavern and had that added expense on top of it. I am glad we did try it and we probably won't go again. Wait times in the ride lines were more than I had expected...at least 30 minutes or more. I think everyone should try it once and see what they think...to each their own!
