Anyone Not like Boma?

I'd be curious how many families that don't like Boma's DO like Jikos. Or don't like Jikos either.
We LOVE Jikos and never take the time to try Boma's. I did an ADR for Boma's next March as we have more time on that trip, but I'm second guessing now.

I was emabrassed to find my self saying mmmmmmmmmmmmmm while eating! We took small tastes of everything and was almost surprised to find it was all tastey. I really liked the couscous, and sweet potato dish. MMMMMMMMMMM, well dinner tonight will pale in comparison!

We will absolutley go again!

Same here!

We absolutely must eat dinner at Boma every time we go to WDW. I was really excited by the menu before we had tried it though.

Why would you consider a restaurant with a menu that doesn't appeal to you anyway???

This is a thread from more than 3 years ago...about people who DON'T like Boma. What's the point of resurrecting an ancient thread when you are saying the opposite?

Why not find a current thread about people who like Boma:confused3

Always wonder why folks open up old threads...just wondering....:rolleyes1

It's easy to resurrect an old thread, when you search based on relevancy, rather than thread start date. I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often, since relevancy is the default search option. I do agree with you on the search function in general. It doesn't seem to be my friend most of the time. :p

As for our opinion of Boma, we were disappointed for a different reason than most. We were expecting an authentic meal, & thought it was too Americanized for us. Oh, & I'm with MickeyNicky on the zebra domes. At 1st I thought they'd mislabeled them, because what I was looking for must be better than what I was eating, after all the hype I'd read.

I had dinner at Boma last year with a few friends and some of us weren't that fond of it. I too was disappointed with the Zebra Domes and the other foods just didn't appeal to me much.

But that's why WDW is great. They have so many different types of restaurants to please aeveryone. :thumbsup2

Hubby, who is strictly a Meat and Potatoes kind of guy, did not care for it. It is my favorite place on property!
