Anyone NOT gotten what they wanted at 180 days?

We make our ADRs in 12 days and I'm hoping we will have NO problems with the system. This will be our FIRST visit and so far everything has come together nicely :thumbsup2

I just booked my 17 ADRs for Sept 13-22 (so, I'm almost 2 months within my 180... I was late deciding to go this year...) with almost no problems. The only one I wish I could have gotten was a 5:30 Citrico's or Narcoossee's on my 2nd party night (9/18). They had 6:20 and 6:10pm respectively, but I felt that was a touch too late for the party (note that being solo at signatures speeds up the meals a bit, so roughly 1hr for those as well). Settled on a 5:15 @ The Wave, which also works.

Granted, most of my ADRs were not really high demand ones. No pre-opening CP (was looking for 8:30 AM, got 8:40), no Le Cellier this year, no Ohana... etc. Though I did nab a 7:15 Garden Grill (was looking for ~7-7:30 anyway).

Despite my complaining and issues with the CC hold system... it seems to have worked out decently :p.

Then again, I am going a week earlier than I did for the past 2 years, and it's supposed to be considerably less busy...

Booked online at 180 days this morning, online at 7am and got EVERYTHING I wanted! Even 8:15 CRT breakfast, Le Cellier dinner, Ohana, too.

only thing I did not get at 180 was CP pre opening; kept checking and snagged a 8:15am a couple of days later. Other than that only hoop de doo is elusive, but that is because its not loaded/may be down for refurbishment.

I kind of fondly remember my first trip with my brother, where we went with the flow - called the reservation line early in the day when we had decided where we'd likely be and just ask what they had around when we wanted to eat. Worked out nicely, but now I know too much about the restaurants and have made favourites, lol!

I've had no problems at all this time. I'm around 150 days out now and I still seem to be able to get anything I want.

Today was our 180 day mark for most of our trip (have a couple more days that were past the +10 that I could not book yet) and we were able to get everything we wanted. Might have had to go 10-15 minutes in either direction but no trouble getting the places we wanted. :thumbsup2

I had no problems at all for our vacation last July 4th. Granted, it wasn't Christmas, Easter, President's Day or traditional "free dining" BUT I booked sometime in March (so 90 days out?) and it was a holiday weekend.

We went twice last year, (April and October) and in December of 2010 and never had any problems getting all our adr's. Even Hoop De Do on Christmas eve. I just booked not too long ago for our October trip this year and got everything we wanted. I did have the problem of only being able to book 2 days because about 1/2 the other restaurants were not in the system yet.( I called Disney Dining and that is what they said.) But a couple of days later, they all opened up and I was able to get all I wanted. I even changed CRT and moved it UP 3 days and was still able to get an 8:05 for breakfast.
