Anyone not going to WDW soon, and who feels sick with sadness about not going....??

the next time that we go the place will be completley different, there are already a number of new attractions that will be opening this year so I can't begin to think what it will be like in about 8 years time!

Oh well I guess it's something to look forward to! :wizard: :)

Diberry, I bet you can't wait until they change to 6 terms a year when they are meant to be having two weeks in October. Unfortunately our borough is not doing this for 2006/7. I will keep my fingers crossed for 2007/8. I am sure it will happen when DD leaves school though.

I thought I was badly off not going to WDW for 18 months!

We have bought into DVC so we can go to WDW each year for 49 years and have a second or third holiday every year. All we need now are cheaper flights!!!

Roll on October 2006!!

Yes. I am trying to get rid of all debt, so that does not include a trip until probably April. HOwever, if I use my bonus to pay debt, we can go in December.

That would be BRILLIANT!!! No sign of it happening yet though round here.

My Daughters school has recently changed term time so we no longer have two weeks at Easter but a 'spring break'. We usually take her out of school in November (she is still at a young enough age that we can and the school has no objections to it) but this year we were able to spend two weeks in Dominican Republic during 'spring break' without having to pay the usual jumped up school holiday travel prices. It actually worked out cheaper than November would have done! Fantastic we thought, Florida here we come next spring time but, typically, next years 'break' falls at Easter (go figure!!!) and completely stumped our plans!!! So i now have a whole 16 months before we will be back in my favourite place! HOW WILL I COPE?!?! Hubby keeps reminding me i got my Disney-Fix in January at DisneyLand Paris but nothing can compare to DW itself! Nothing beats the feeling of walking down Main Street, strolling along the Boardwalk at night, sitting through Beauty & the Beast for the 100th time (and still crying at the end!!) Need i go on? Next year we will be staying at All Star Movies with friends who have never been to Disney before so i'm now getting excited about showing them the sights and seeing it through fresh eyes! It'll soon be time to read The Un-official Guide... for the millionth time again - and still enjoy it!!! My friends think i'm mad but only a true Disney Addict would understand - and i'm determined to convert them all!!!!

Guess what's happened now.... :confused3
We were at my parents on Saturday and I asked my Dad if he and Mum had got a holiday planned for next year and he went quiet, and my Mum said they didn't want to tell me as they know how much I adore WDW, but they are planning to go next Jan/Feb time on their own (my Dad has only ever been with my sisters family (2 kids) or my brothers family (3 kids, now 4 kids - baby Blake born last week!! :flower: ), so they are really looking forward to going without any kiddies.
Me and Mum went on our own for a week in 2001, but Dad has only ever been with little ones.
I am sooooo happy for them, but it has made me want to go back even more!
They have priced up staying at a hotel on I drive, and with all the tickets to the parks, hotel, flights and transfers, it's coming out at £750 each, which I think is brill (for 2 weeks).
I was looking at my Hubby (do you guys write DH for hubby?) to see his reaction, and he was smiling but shaking his head as if to say 'don't get any ideas wifey' but I was fluttering my eye lashes, but I think he will be stubborn about this one, as we need to get the house finished and then want to start trying for a wee one next Summer time (hopefully).

I thought it would be fantastic if we could afford it, and if we booked up without telling my parents and flew out just before they do and were waiting for them when they arrived!!

I know they would love it, as although they wanted a holiday without kids, they mean little ones, and really love our company.

What am I gonna do??
I really want to go, also, really want to decorate house and have babies, but surely one last little trip won't hurt!?

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Go for it!!!!! I'm sure you can persuade your DH with your womanly wiles!!! ;) :rotfl: That's an incredible bargain price too!!

Don't tempt me!
Our honeymoon was supposed to be our last visit before babies, but there's still time to cram in one more visit.

Parents are looking to stay at the Best Western Plaza.
Anyone know anything about that hotel?

we are not going next year, we have booked for turkey, all inclusive hotel looks great, lots to do for kids etc its a financial decision as nov 2007 is my 40th birthday and we are planning new york then orlando, i know thats amazing but it is soooo far away, we only came back fom florida on 2nd of june and it feels like a lifetime ago, there really is no where else like it.
I have been pricing up cheap weekend to DLp for a little bit of disney but thats not quite the same. I know it sounds spoilt and petulant to people I work with when i whine about how much i want to go back but its in your blood, you lot understand don't you? :confused3
I keep planning to take the trip planning page off my default page on the net to stop torturing myself but I can't!

Tink78...what a fantastic place to conceive in orlando! good luck with it!

Of course we understand. :flower:
I was the one who started this thread as it's going to be years and years until we go again. :sad2:

We aren't planning on trying to conceive there tho.

My parents are going Jan/Feb time next year and I wanted to go along and surprise them at the airport or something but I realised yesterday that we can't anyway as my hubbie's holiday from work runs April to April and he doesn't have enough days off for us to go next Jan/Feb!! :sad2:

I then said about trying to persuade my parents to go in May time so we could go but he's right, we can't really afford it, as we want to clear our loan :sad2: and then start trying for a baby next Summer time :love2:, so we really need to think about saving for that, and not WDW, but I guess the sooner we have a baby, the sooner we can go back (with our little one in tow!) :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I am just going to have to keep visiting this website and help you guys plan your trips!
