Anyone NOT getting ADRS they want?

We dont really know what we want to eat 180 days out either.
But we do know a few favorites TS places and we wnated to try new ones too!

We are always glad to have an ADR and no one has ever said,
"I dont want to eat there."

We're going Sept. 18-28, and I booked our ADR's in the middle of July. I couldn't get LeCell, but have managed to get (with a couple of call backs) Coral Reef, Kona, Ohana, CP, Spoodles, 50's PT, H & V, Boma, Cape May, and the Garden Grill. All pretty much at or near the times that we were looking for!

Just called last nite (Thurs) and made an ADR at Biergarten for Aug 17 at 6:15 for 8 of us. Just found out then that friends of ours are going to be there when we are, so we're hooking up for supper and the nite ! Have already made all of our other ADR's. None of us has ever eaten there, so we're looking forward to it !! Good luck !! :thumbsup2

YES, it is really affecting my ADR plans this year, especially with the Free Dining Plan. We chose NOT to do the plan, and CANNOT make a ressie or two we had been really looking forward to :( :upsidedow :sad2: !

Hope you have a car to eat offsite!

I just changed some reservations for the week of September 16th. I did have to go about an hour earlier for than I planned for a character breakfast, but other than that, no problem.

I do still need to cancel a WWC, HddR and Chef Mickey, so do not give up hope. Things can open up.

I booked bright and early at 180 days, not very long after i booked our room. We have a few favorites and for the other nights I pestered them with printouts of menus. After much eye rolling they commited and I reserved. I haven't touched them since. The only problem i have had so far is that Teppan Edo may not be open yet so I booked a backup Chefs de France last night. Got the time I requested.

We didn't decide to go to Disney this September 28- Oct 3 until last month, so this whole 180 day thing didn't help us.
When I began planning I found that the only place I really wanted to try for dinner and couldn't get was Le Cellier. It's booked solid and I have called back again about 5 times so far and still no success. However, I did book a lunch there, and the menu is virtually the same.

I was able to book Cali Grill for dinner on 9/28, AP dinner on 9/29, and three lunches: LTT, LeCell, GF Tea for other days on my trip without a problem.

+1

Le Cellier was the one that escaped us as well; we also went with the lunch option at LC.

More similarly, we booked for mid-October last week.

I am looking for Chef Mickey's for dinner on 8/13 or 8/14 for four anyone canceling? :eeyore:

I booked at 180+10 and got everything I wanted at the time. Since then I've changed ADRs several times and with the exception of Le Cellier which I stupidly didn't get at 180+10, I've been able to make the changes I've wanted, although I did have to be flexible with dates/times. But Le Cellier has been booked solid every time I've called.

I don't have it, but I know there is a 1-800 number for dining, couldn't you take advantage of that to save $$?? Anyone have the 800 number to share???

I might be wrong, but I don't think 800 numbers work from outside the country (with mabe the exception of Canada). Calling from overseas is a toll call. Just the wait on hold before you talk to someone is probably quite expensive.

They really need to open a Le Cellier 2 - put one in DTD, and then open a counter service restaurant where you can just order the soup and breadsticks, similar to how you can do fish and chips in Britain.

My DF and I decided to plan a last minute trip to WDW and had a few problems getting ADRs. There was NOTHING at MK or any of the surrounding resorts for Monday August 27. Finally we got a 5:40 for Cali. Grill (after 2 weeks of calling everyday) :cool1: We gave up on getting "normal" dinner times so we have to eat early or late (I could only get a 9:20 pm at Ohanas and 4:00 at Sci-Fi). The good thing is we had no problem getting character breakfast ADRs. I was able to get Crystal Palace and Donald's Breakfastosaurus.
I feel soooo sorry for the people who do not know about ADRs.

While I made all my ADRs early, I am having some difficulty now making changes to them. I call to try and grab cancellations, but there haven't been any. We will be at WDW from 8/26 - 9/2.

I just read that the Teppanyaki rehab won't be done on time so I need to try and make another change....GGGRR!!

I know guests with the AP get to go more than others, but it's just as frustrating getting reservations. We like to make short notice trips (like booking the weekend of 9/7 for my daughter's b-day just a couple of weeks ago), but can't get any reservations for a nice birthday dinner for her. Oh well, I'll keep trying :)

MIL will not make ADR! I hope they dont get anything. Sorry but I do!

She said she will call when shes down there. We are going for free dining.
