Anyone not get charged their deposit?

Great stories.
I once called the cable company about a signal problem. After that I didn't get charged cable for like 5 years, although I was paying for my internet. They finally caught on a few months ago and started sending me a seperate cable bill.

After the HRH re-instated my reservation, I checked my credit card, but have not been charged yet. I'm almost scared to call them, but I wanna make sure the new confirmation number is still there.

I don't trust them at all. Their reservation system is seriously messed up.
 
I booked 2 rooms at Portofino in Feb. To date I still have not been charged the first night. I did get a confirmation email. In April I called to confirm my resses and they were there. I will call and check again later this month.
 
UPDATE: I did call back and they had the wrong email address (inverted 2 letters), anyway I know have my email confirmations and that's all I need. I always call the day before I go just to re-check.

You can always call them ask them if they have any new discounts. If you want a written confirmation sent in the mail you have to call them and request it. It will come a few days after that. I have called numerous times hoping for extra days or a cheaper rate (no such luck) and that's when I found out about getting a mailed confirmaton.
 

the last three times (not counting upcoming oct trip) i booked ressies for hrh, i was told i had to pay one night as a deposit.

never did it go through on my cc.
when i checked in each time, they verified i was not charged for one night stay on my card.
i prefer paying at least something in advance to cut down on the HUGH bill i get from my cc after my vacation.........
each trip i gave the info on my universal orlando mc, and still did not get charged in advance for the deposit.
go figure............

I booked 2 rooms at PBH for our upcoming August trip. To date I have not been charged a deposit for either room. I do call once a month to check to make sure everything is ok. So far so good!
 
I booked two rooms at RP from Aug 22-28 @ $119.00. I was charged a deposit on both rooms (came to $132 and change by the way). I then went ahead and added a day on to my reservation and the rate is different, $152 I believe for August 21. When I received my confirmation email, it says rate of $152 from Aug 21-28! I do have my original confirmation email for $119 from Aug 22-28. I called reservations and they have the information correct but this is bothering me, I want it in wriiting Aug 21 @$152 and Aug 22-28 @$119. I guess I will have to call again and ask for another confirmation with the correct information as I don't want any problems.
