Anyone need a place to go?

I was going to make this offer yesterday, but we were still unsure if WE were going to have to leave. If anyone knows of family or friends who cannot find a place to rest there heads (I know every hotel room on the eastern seaboard is full!) I may be able to help. PM or e-mail me.
Charleston is just 50 miles from I-95. My home is small and humble, but I'd be happy to extend shelter to people who need a bed, a shower, or a hot meal (or all 3!)
If you have family or friends on the road, and can reach them by cell phone, please let me know.
I will be home all day and will check this board and my e-mail every hour.

Mary is right................EVERYBODY COME ON OVER.............

Mary and I are both good ole' suthern cooks....and we have plenty of beds, floor space and we have gas and groceries.....

If all the HH hotel rooms are full, go on up to Charleston to Mary...

However, we have schools to open for shelters, one has already been opened....but our home is also available, as is out next door neighbor.....

But we are going to be here all weekend............

Go on I-95 to Exit 8 in SC.....exit to hwy 278. Stay on that until you see a cross street called Spanish Wells Road....turn right...
turn right where it says Animal Shelter.....the first building you come to is Fire Station # 4....go there and ask them how to find me...they KNOW where to find me....believe me.....they can call my cell phone and I'll take it from there....

Today is my birthday...and we are going out...but everyone can go with us.......one big party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just like Mary and Phyllis -------can Norm and I come up
Sitting here looking out toward the ocean --what waves --the door to the roof is slamming so hard that I am sure it will go before this is over - went over to the shop this morn to check everyone's investments and it all was looking good --went down to the beach and there were folks out in the water with their dog - nope I'm brave, but not that much --its getting kinda dark - my sister Sandra in melbourne is losing shingles off her roof and of course no electricity --the older folks are doing great here -
anyhow things are getting a little noisy so am going to go fix me a cold drink of coke and munchie. I most likely will gain 50 lbs by Monday
