Anyone near Chapel Hill, NC?

I was wondering what you could tell me about the area for families. Looked on Sperling's Best Places website and real estate sounds insanely high! Then, I read about increased gang problems and thought I'd check here to find out the opinions of my fellow disboard members.

Used to live there and I loved it. You're right though, property is expensive. It's so expensive that its not exactly a breeding ground for gangs, but there are wastrels everywhere (WDW excluded). School are great.
