We are planning a weekend visit ( yes I know it will be crowded ) but we are season pass holders at Six Flags in NJ and wanted to know a few things .

Are they using the same Orange colored cups there for the refillable cups ? we have a few and were wondering if we should bring them .
Also do they have the Poppin /Cotton bucket with the 99 cent refills ? we also have this bucket and wanted to know if we should even bring it .

Thanks for the help and information ...

I was there a few weeks ago- the cups were translucent orange big cups with a blue (I think) straw- not sure if they are the same. Not familiar with the Poppin /Cotton bucket.

And yes, It will be crowded. The parking is a hike from the park also, just FYI.

Thanks for the information on the Cup . I Have been there before the firsrt year they opened Thomas Town . We are only going because we have the season passes and we need to ride Bizarro after riding our version of Bizarro here . We know all about the parking and the HUGE HIKE to the park .

Thanks again ...:thumbsup2

Bizarro is EXACTLY the same a Superman- except they painted it and blast music in your ears now. Did they do anything new for the Bizzaro in NJ? Wasn't the Superman ride in NJ a flying coaster? I remember loving it.

Our Bizzaro was not our superman ride it was our Medusa ride . They changed the color of the track added the music and some effects to it . We now have flame throwers on the side of the ride at one point . IT is better with the effects but not always worth the waits for a "new " ride .

We really enjoyed the superman ride when we visited the park a few years ago . I am looking forward to seeing the changes though I think they should have left the ride alone it was great to begin with . Looking forward to spending the weekend in the park though .

I can't answer your question about the bucket, but I can suggest the Hilton Garden Inn in Springfield as a nice, clean , safe hotel.

Thanks for the hotel suggestion . I booked a hampton Inn in CT. IT was a pretty cheap place and we wanted to try it out . WISH US LUCK ..

Superman is an awesone ride- that much has not changed. You reminded me- they added flame throwers here too! I think you will be much better off at a Hampton Inn in Ct than at any hotel in Springfield. Avoid Springfield if you are able. Exits 47E and 48 off I91 in CT wil have all the restaurants/ stores you will need. Six Flags is 47W, so you will be right there.

we stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Springfield and it is a good place to stay. Nice room size, clean. There is breakfast. A pizzeria uno is connected to it. The Basketball hall of fame shares the parking lot and there is a cold stone creamery.
