Anyone live in or near Orlando?

I would like to have a professional family photo taken while on Vacation in Orlando..maybe with the beach, palm trees etc. Looking for a reccomendation from the locals..

As today marks my one year anniversary in my spiffy Orlando pad, I guess I count as a local, YAAAAAAAAAY!


I don't have a specific photographer to name for you, since I haven't used one down here yet, but I can tell you that there are a lot of good professional ones. Because there's so much entertainment industry action around here, there are a lot of professional/head shot/etc., photographers who will do the kind of outdoor photos you sound like you're looking for. (You also get a lot nicer than the usual "rest your chin on your hand and say cheese" kind of pics.)

If I've misunderstood, and you aren't after an outdoor photo, you might seriously consider trying The Picture People, who I believe are at the West Oaks Mall, just north of Universal. They take amazingly warm, fun, special pictures, and are FABULOUS at catching people's personalities. The coolest part for visitors is that your proofs are ready to veiw in an hour, and any photos you order will be done an hour after that.
