Back in September we bought into the DVC. However, while running through their financing dept (loans) we hit some snags and had to show/fax some documentation to get approved.
We did the whole tour while at Dinsey. Paid our down payment that day when we decided to buy, and signed all of those mountians of papers that go into the big folder that we received.
Our estimated closing date was supposed to be Oct 13th, but due to having to fax in financial information, we didn't get our approval until December.
At Christmas we received our approval letter, and I guess that makes us "offcial" DVC members. When we did everything on property, we received our member cards, but last week they sent us new ones.
My first payment is due in February, but am I to receove any closing papers or do I not, because we signed everything down at Disney? While we have the letter saying our financing went through, welcome home, and all that, I just feel like I should be getting some other documentation or something. I vaguely remeber our gudie saying something about deed titling, closing papers, etc.....or was that in all those papers that we signed?
Also since the new phase of AKV is our home resort, I have forgotten how the annual dues are working for this year, since it doesn't open until May. On the member website, I don't see anything about what I owe for dues in the Dues area or will I be paying these when AKV opens.....I do recall that AKV dues are prorated for this year.......sigh.
