where I can find free downloads of disney stuff???

I'm giving the grandkids their suprise this weekend and had planned to do an 'invite' type thing each for them but can't find any disney backgrounds that I can print. Tried to be clever and sent myself one of the e-cards off the disneyland 15 site but it won't let me print it.

Any ideas???

We've used photos before when making DDs party invitations.

sorry to invade your thread but its sort of the same topic...

I also wondered if there was anything around where you can download an activity/work sheet for disneyland where they have to spot certain things and tick it off the sheet etc, i suppose something like you get on school trips to spot things as you go... just wanted something for my 9 year old, as he loves working things out :)

I had planned to copy the images from websites. I thought it might be possible to use the Mickey hand pulling back the curtain on the email confirmation from DLRP. I always do letters from Santa at Christmas and google the images I use for that. You could always buy some Disney stationary and print it on that.

prob not what you are looking for but when I typed 'free disney downloads printable' into the search engine I got loads of sites for colouring pages and activity sheets etc - not sure what they are like as I didn't go into all the sites - came up with loads of them!

A Small World - thanks hadn't thought of using a photo - off to search through the ones from my last trip:thumbsup2

Joolz1910 - I'm hoping the e-brochure will let me print some images which I can then scan and add text to! If not it'll be a mad dash to the shops tomorrow for some stationary!!

i found this: http://printstation.disney.co.uk/index.html?dChar=thelittlemermaid

select all characters and then activity sheets and it should come up!

:goodvibes

not sure if its what your looking for but the 'playhouse disney' website has loads of different stuff...the UK and US sites are slighty different so worth looking at both...there is a 'celebration centre' bit which has invites/decorations/activities...have just printed off some halloweeny bits to occupy dd tomorrow :goodvibes hope you find something

We're surprising the kids on the day we go (18th December) so i've made this below from scratch one evening : -

If you would like one done just let me know what you want on it and i'll send it over.

Nothing special I know but makes it a bit more special for the kids, going to put ours in a Gold envelope and give it to them on the day.

Hi All

Thanks for the links etc.:thumbsup2

Spinneruk - love your invite, I've pm'd you:)

We're travelling from North Wales to Birmingham shortly so hopefully when I get chance to get on the pc tonight I'll be able to get it sorted, can't wait to see the kids faces tomorrow (yes yes I know I've left it to the last minute to do this considering I've been planning it since May!!)

thanks ever so much, that looks great !!!

Spinner that invite looks fantastic :) Well done. I am going to try and make and invite to go with the advent calender im making!

I would like to make an advent calendar. Any tips on how to make one?

Thanks for all of the comments, if anyone would like 1 made just pm me what you want added / changed etc along with your e-mail address and i'll send it over.

What we have done is printed them off then laminated them for a keepsake for the kids.....can't wait to see the kids faces when they open the golden envelope.

To make the calender I have used Corel Photo / paint shop pro, using layers to add the rectangle doors over the photo I wanted to use. Still working on it though, to add the numbers and a template with just the doors to print on the back card so I know where to stick the piccies that will show when the doors are opened :)

Are you using photos? I'll have to use pictures from websites as we haven't got any digital photographs of DLRP. I'll have a look at paint shop pro and see if I can work it out! Failing that, I'll just buy two big pieces of card and some pritt stick. lol

Ive used a photo of the castle at christmas i found online, and behind each door is going to be a Disney Character with Mickey and minniee on the last day :)
