I actually found some information that The Simpsons is supposed to open on March 15, 2008

I've heard March 15th as well. I think that is the date that was tossed around at the Disaster opening.

If thats true about T2 I'm glad they are not doing away with it like they did to BTTF

I was there yesterday and it still had the same barricade around it. The BTTF building is still there and still looks the same so I wonder how different the new ride will be.
They do have a Kwik-E-Mart operating and a Simpsons "motorhome" complete with tacky awning and a case of donuts on the roof, plenty of Duff beer, etc. and plenty of photo-ops with the whole Simpsons family (no Maggie)

That's great to know about Simpsons family there for photos. My DS 8 wants so much to be able to do the ride after seeing it advertised on the movie DVD. The characters and Kwik E Mart will have to do for now. Another excuse to return sooner than later.

Well, the Revenge of the Mummy ride was built in the same building as the old King Kong ride and it is very different.

I know the building has been painted a different color. I don't know how much has been changed inside but I am anxiously awaiting.
