anyone know why the movie Nanny McPhee

is rated PG? What specifically made the rating? Not sureif I want to take dd until I know soemthing about it = I know I might have to wait til Friday to find out - but was just wondering if anyone came across this yet & knows....

It is the story of a widower with children that are out of control. Then Nanny McPhee arrives. It sort of reminds me of Mary Poppins on the children are wilder. As the story progresses and the children start falling under Nanny's spell (not magical), Nanny's appearance starts to change. I don't want to give away any more, but it is a cute story.

Too true! I saw the trailer last week and had nightmares that night. Trailer was on again last night during American Idol and I had to go in another room.

I think she is to me what clowns are to other people.

I think she is homely at the beginning of the movie, but certainly nothing that would scare a child.
