DD9 just read "Kingdom Keepers" for her book report. We leave in 20 days, and she keeps saying, "I hope the dolls on Small World don't come alive and attack us!" She thinks it's funny, but I think she's starting to worry her little sister a bit. I may have the only kid who loves ToT and EE but is scared to get on IASW!

You're not the only one. Well..sort of. DD is not scared to get on it, but after reading Kingdom Keepers has no desire to ride it anymore. The dolls now "creep me out."

We've been reading the first one as well (as a family...DH and I are loving it as much as DS8!) DS told me this morning that he's not so sure about riding IASW next week, LOL...I told him the same thing as Dewdrop's DD - smile the whole time and he'll be OK. His response? "I never smile on Small World"

We're driving down, so I plan to bring the rest of the books and get through one or two more on the trip

Pirates closed Saturday and hasnt been open since. The CMs are saying technical difficulties. But that sounds odd for Pirates -being down that long.

I've been here since last Thursday & although the wait time apps say CL, it's been open every time we went to ride with the exception of last night during EMH. It was around 2am so not sure if it was a scheduled closing, or a technical difficulty.

Parks are PACKED right now. We changed our touring plans by day 2, we now sleep in, hang at the pool or visit another resort for a late lunch, then hit the parks around 7-8pm & stay til closing. Most everything is a walk on after 11pm, during the day we were just spending our time waiting & maneuvering crowds.

On a serious note, I have heard this is the most common place for people to spread ashes of loved ones. Apparently this ride needs to be cleaned regularly because of this. I know if I get creamated, this is where I want to be disposed of!!!!!!!!

Are you sure? If the ride has to be cleaned regularly because of the ashes, your ashes might end up in the trash!!!

Personally, I like the idea of ending up in the Seven Seas Lagoon or in the World Showcase Lagoon. Just let them try to find ashes in the bottom of the lagoon!!! I'll be there forever, FOREVER I Tell YOU!!!!!*sinister laugh*
