Anyone know which new EMH schedule is the most up-to-date? I am sooo confused! If I am reading them correctly (BIG IF!) it looks like there is a different schedule on Deb's site than on WDWinfo.com for the week of Feb. 6th.

I know the schedule keeps changing - much to my dismay - but as of now, which is the MOST up-to-date so that I can change my PS schedule once again!

Anyone know??

Thanks so much -what a mess this would be if I didn't have these boards! You guys are so helpful! :flower1:

I think the only way you can know for sure is to call Disney at 407 WDW-INFO and ask a CM about the schedule. Deb's page appears to be updated as of 12/23/04, but it is unclear as to when wdwinfo was last updated.

dcmbshafe -

I did try to ask when trying to re-arrange the PS schedule the first time...the very nice CM I spoke to said -in essence - that they are really not "allowed" to acknowledge the new schedule until Jan. 2nd so she couldn't really answer any of my never-ending questions... of course, I could call back today and get a completely different answer, so I think I may just take your advice and try again.

I agree with you that I see when Deb's site was updated, but can't tell about wdwinfo's site...thanks for responding...maybe someone will know??

Here's how it's listed on the Info section of our Cast Portal:

Extra Magic Hours (Effective January 2, 2005)
Admittance: Beginning January 2, 2005, the Extra Magic Hour schedule will allow Guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resorts time in Theme Parks in both the early morning and evening. Valid theme park ticket and Resort I.D. required. To enjoy the EMH benefit, guests without the Park Hopper Option can only visit the park offering the EMH benefit that day or night.

Morning Extra Magic Hour occurs one hour prior to regularly scheduled Park opening and Guests will need to present a valid Key to the World Card at the park's turnstiles. Resort Guests wishing to enjoy Evening Extra Magic Hours should obtain a wristband at the theme park by presenting a valid Key to the World Card no sooner than two hours prior to Park close.

Offerings by Day of Week (effective January 2, 2005)

Sunday - Disney-MGM Studios (evening)
Monday - Epcot (morning)
Tuesday - Disney-MGM Studios (morning); Disney's Animal Kingdom (evening)
Wednesday - Magic Kingdom (evening)
Thursday - Epcot (evening)
Friday - Magic Kingdom (morning)
Saturday - Disney's Animal Kingdom (morning)

There will probably be exceptions to this, just as there were occasionally exceptions to the old system, but this is accurate as of Dec 28 at noon!

I have been watching the developments very closely since we have a January trip. It is my recollection that both sites posted the revised EMH schedule about the same time. I thought they were the same.

Does this mean the end of E-Ride nights?

We arrive the week of 2/13. According to Deb's site Wed evening 2/16 will be MGM. When you scroll down "new daily schedule will look like this", it shows wed 2/16 as MK during that evening! I just don't know what to think.... Does anyone know if Wed. 2/16 is MGM or MK in the evening?

allearsnet.com has posted different hours for MLKing week. Does the CM site show hours for MLKing and President's Week?

The information on the DIS is accurate: EMH Schedule

We were the first to post the deviations and continue to monitor the schedule for any changes. :D

dvcreg and WDSearcher, aren't your two schedules different? Dvcreg, where is your schedule coming from?

Thanks,

Len

O. K., now I feel better, as even lentesta is seeing two different schedules. I re-checked and the two big differences for my dates seem to occur on Tues. Feb. 8th and Thurs. Feb. 10th. There are some discrepencies in the Epcot/MGM/AK hours. Specifically, I am confused as to which park might be the correct late evening park on Tues. the 8th AK or Epcot? On the 10th is it Epcot or MGM that will have a late EMH??

Oh, such high drama here!!!

I can only assume that this is occuring due to the "constant tinkering" they are doing to the schedule, but I wish that something concrete would appear - it is really putting February travelers at a disadvantage not being able to make their plans.

Oh, well, if someone gets it all figured out, I'll be lurking...

Thanks to all for all of the input and for trying to shed some light on the situation!!!!

Just wanted to note that it seems as though Deb's site is in line with WDW Searchers cast portal schedule. It took me a while to write down all of the schedules and do a comparison. I don't know that this clears up anything, just another observation.

You know, between this and the darn ticket scheme, I'm going to need a drink.

I think dvcreg's schedule may be the most current, as Iit matches at least one other source I have. Of course, this means I have to update the Guide's "Best Days" calendar later today, too. :badpc:

I can understand the frustration as it initially appeared to be a "set schedule" and turned out to be anything but.

We do our utmost to provide accurate info on the DIS. When it conflicts with other sources, it can be confusing.

If it is changed, we'll be sure to bring any differences to your attention. :D

One schedule shows wed, 2/16 as EMH evening MK and the other one shows wed, 2/16 EMH evening MGM. Can anyone clear this up for me??

This was a funny thread to read back through...when I first heard that the evening EMHs might "float", I thought about how much of a nightmare this was going to cause with planning.

I really don't understand why Disney can't put this information on their website and why CMs would be told to not officially acknowledge the new EMH program.

I will continue to expect the unexpected from Disney on this new program. Aside from a handful of PS ressies, some of which I won't be able to change, I have stopped itinerary planning for our trip because I think it is a huge waste of time at this point. When even the best of the best WDW planners are at odds with one another because of the lack of information, I don't like my chances of being able to put together a good itinerary at this point.

Hey Muffy, it's MGM as the evening EMH on 2/16. :D

on the tickets - so you can use a magic pass with out the park hopper and still go to this thing in the evening - even if that was not the park you were in????

does this question make sense?

Oh Lordy!! What HAVE I started???

dcmbshafe - I am taking your advice and giving up for now! I am leaving to go out of town for New Year's and wanted to try to get everything settled before then, but oh well -- I will try again on Jan. 3rd when everything SHOULD be in place and when hopefully, the CM's will be able to give us a little more insight.

This is sooo frustrating, but thanks again to all who have TRIED THEIR HARDEST to give me something resembling a correct answer!!

spiceycat, I would guess that you will NOT be able to do what you're suggesting. For instance, if evening-EMH is scheduled for MGM and you have a MYW pass without the park hopper feature, I would think you'd have to go to MGM that day in order to take advantage of evening-EMH.
