I seem to have trouble finding clothes lately.

The shirts/sweaters are soooo short, which isn't so bad, but pair them with pants that are now coming low, I am left struggling to keep me belly covered.

I tend to wear more classic clothes with updated twists, but when I was out shopping this weekend, clothes either looked dumpy and out of date or were too skimpy for someone that isn't as toned as she should be.

Anyone have any ideas??

Yep, I work in a middle school, lot sof mid drifts hanging out. I just tried on two sweaters in the junior dept. today, everything is skin tight. Have you tried Gap or Old Navy, I usually can find more updated stuff there.

Not sure how old you are or if you're into funky "young" clothes, but American Eagle has a great selection of tees that are pretty long...They have nice shirts too-I don't think anything I've gotten there has been belly baring, and I wear super low-cut jeans!
Im pretty sure the website is either www.americaneagleoutfitters.com or www.ae.com

Ok, I looked, you're young! You can definatly do the American Eagle thing, and they're pretty cheap!

No,No,No!!! Not young!!! LOL.

I'm a 30 year old mommy with kids in school. I drive a mini van.

Those are my favorite stores....Gap, old navy, AE, but....I think I am getting too old. I felt kind of silly dressed like that. And my midriff does show when I lift my arms or bend over to get groceries out of the car.

Guess I just have to put up with it until fashion changes!

Go to Lerner!! (it may be called New York and Company there, same store, 2 names) I've found a lot of good stuff there, and they have professional and "active" wear that would be great for an updated mommy! I got some great things on their clearance racks before Christmas, and I wanted tons more! I can't wear their pants though...but that's another story.

30 is still young!!!
But if you're not comfortable with it, definatly don't wear it! Cuz then ya look silly!!! I agree though, try Lerners...their cut is a little weird for me, but on some it looks great!

Wah ahh ahhh....

No Lerner here in the seattle area!!!

Do they do mail order??

Ditto, Lerner (NY & Co.) How fabulous they are. Stretch pants, petite, medium and tall, and lots of shirts that not only cover your belly, but also cover a little bit of a big heiny! Great sales too!
