Anyone know where I can see the cash rates for VB?

This is from a flyer a CM at VB mailed to me when I called to ask that very thing: (2004 rates)

Regular Season - 210, 250, 310, 415, 835

Summer - 195, 225, 285, 390, 815

Peak - 270, 305, 380, 575, 960

Holiday - 300, 355, 430, 640, 1105 (whee!)

Value - Jan 1-Feb 4, Aug 29-Dec 19
Regular - Apr 18-Jun 2
Summer - June 3 - Aug 28
Peak - Feb 5 - Mar 27

do members get a cash discount if they choose to not use points? if so.. are those prices with or without a cash discount?

The member discount is on an "as available" basis...they don't guarantee you can always get it. It's 25% off rack rate and is only available to a member (not their guests). The member is expected to be staying in the room.

I think the rates bbowers posted are the rack rates -- no discounts. A member would pay 25% less. (When staying with a member discount you get DVC housekeeping. If you're a "regular" cash guest you get daily housekeeping.)

those look like rack rates and are high

they often have advertised specials in our Tampa paper for value season - seems like around 129 a night for an inn room - garden

If it helps you any, we booked our stay at VB this past June 11-13 in a 1bdrm villa and paid $214 per night That was with the DVC member discount

Just an FYI. I called this morning to book for Christmas and NYE.

I was offered the cash discount for both stays.

The Beach Cottage was even available with a cash discount at $829 for Christmas Eve and Christmas. That's around $300 off.

I'm anxious for the resort to open again.
