I am looking to put my kids art work in picture frames. Most would need to be 8*10s. I have a kids computer room in my home and I want to decorate it "nice" but kid friendly. I thought it would look nice to put all their nice art work in frames for their room. So it would still be kid friendly but "viewable" lol. Kids are 11,4,3.

Try your local dollar store... they usually have a decent selection and won't break the bank!

Ditto.
I buy lots of frames at the Dollar Store and have had for years.

Well the christmas tree store has 8x10 fridge art frames. they are magnetic and the art slides in.

Craft stores like Michael's and AC Moore usually have a nice assortment of inexpensive frames (wait for a 50% off sale or coupon)

I got a great one at Wal-Mart.....it was only $13 and it's a little like a shadowbox. it opens from the front ( so the glass opens like a door) so you can switch out the art work without having to take it off the wall. It's fantastic. :goodvibes

Wal Mart has a selection of frames for 2-3 bucks each. I get them all of the time for things at work. I keep a stack under my desk in case I need to frame a sign or a certificate.

I haven't had much luck with the ones from the DollarTree. I wish I would have paid a little more and gotten them somewhere else. I have had luck at Pier One. Also if you have an Old Time Pottery, I have done very well there too!

The Christmas Tree Store has a fairly big assortment. I've also had really good luck at the big JoAnn Fabrics, especially w/ a coupon. We have a small one in town and their selection is terrible, but if I find myself in Rochester, when we're in need of frames, I always stop there.

I would try Hobby Lobby if you have one. They generally run their frames for 50% off. Ikea is also a good suggestion.

Years ago I bought lots of frames at Dollar General. Most have been replaced now because they didn't hold up very well.
