Anyone know when the new Courtyard Waterpark will start taking res?

The new Courtyard Waterpark Hotel is supposed to open July 16, 2015. I had heard it was supposed to start taking reservations in April, but online reservations don't seem to be working yet. Has anybody called or seen any info about when they will start taking reservations?

The only thing I've seen is on their website where it states they will start taking reservations "sometime in April", (hopefully that doesn't mean April 30th!). I keep checking to see if reservations are being accepted out of curiosity of what their room rates will be.

I was wondering the same thing. Our upcoming August trip will be the first time we are staying offsite. We are currently booked at the Hojo, but the new Courtyard looks awesome (from the sounds of it). I think staying there might be our best option for offsite, depending on the price. I signed up for their email notifications, hoping I would get a "grand opening rate" email when they start taking reservations.

Someone said on another thread they would start taking reservations in April/early May. I hope they start soon. The suspense is killing me! lol

I got some info, but nothing really clear. They will take reservations in late April or early May. Cost will be lower than the onsite hotels, but higher than the other hotels on Harbor in walking distance. They should have AP discounts, but the person I spoke with couldn't say what they would be since they haven't firmly set their price points yet.

I personally can't wait for this hotel. We're hoping to stay there for either a December or January trip, but I'm eagerly awaiting the first reviews as July comes around.

Anybody want to guess what the rates will be like? If they're supposed to be higher than the walking distance hotels and the Fairfield (Marriott) seems to be $179 for most dates I would have to estimate $225+. If so, I'll stick to the Desert Inn although it does look like it will be pretty cool.

I am curious what others think regarding the pricing as well. I also wonder if there will be any sort of Grand Opening special, since we will be there in August.

I know my kids will love those slides. I guess the price will determine where we stay. At $225, I can wait for a Orbitz discount and stay at PP for the same price.
