Anyone know when the Mickey Graduation 2012 hats will be available?

well I called and mine have already shipped, supposed to arrive on Tuesday. The item# for mine is
400005474712
so if anyone can verify which style hat goes with that number
conversation with CM was still unclear..he said I am getting the ones with the large mortarboard, in-between the ears...
I said I am after the style with the fuzzy ears, not the traditional park hat with the plastic ears (and that one shows the mortar board in-between the ears)
guess I will just have to wait and see.

I just called the merchandise number and ordered these for my daughter. We were at the park last spring and she bought them for her friend who graduated last year and they are adorable. She has been upset that we arent going this year so she cant get any. The order number that I used was 400005474712. I was VERY specific that I wanted the ones that look like a traditional mortar board with the fuzzy ears on them... not the ones that look like traditional ears with a mortar board stuck between them. They were $19.95. Plus shipping. I know when we were at the park last year the ear hat ones werent as much, and we did pay $19.95 for the ones we bought at the park, so I am assuming this is the one I am getting. I must really love my daughter( well, I do!!) because I am paying an EXTRA $25 to have them shipped to Canada!!!!

Oh, and I dont know about having them embroidered... I didnt ask as she didnt want that. We are going to actually pay EXTRA when she has her formal cap and gown portraits done to have some with this hat.... I think we are a little disney obsessed!!! But really, what is WRONG with that???

They came UPS and they did not ask for any tax or duty at the door so I am assuming there is none. DH signed for the box. They are adorable. There is a Duffy grad bear coming out in the next month. The CM told me that it was on her screen but not yet available and to call back. It will be $30. We seen the 2011 Duffy Grad bear and DD loved it. She has quite the bear collection.

I would say you got much better service for the price paid! Can you tell if there is an item number on yours-or the receipt? I am trying to verify the specific item# for the fuzzy ears. I ordered mine last week. I asked for the Motar Board - with ears and tassel. I am hoping it is the lighter blue but the darker blue is fine also. I will ck and see if I can get it embroidered here at home. The school colors are the lighter blue. It was $7.95 shipping by ups to NY. I can't wait to see them.

I want the ones that are the regular plastic ears. If anyone has the product # for those please let me know. I need 2 of them this year for my twin's graduating from HS. I thought this would be a great gift for right before we leave a week after their graduation. But I totally want the ones that can be personalized plus I dont' think my son would like the fuzzy ears. Usually we get ears on every trip with the kids at The Chapaeu but I am sure they would be sold out by May 21st.

Style #400005474712 is for the fuzzy ears. My DB just got home and picked it up for me. I love it. I just wished they would have written my DD name on it. The cast member in MK said he couldn't do it and wouldn't do it. I hope she enjoys them as much as I think she will. She LOVES Disney.

I just called this morning because I had ordered mine on the 9th and they haven't arrived. They are due to come today. The person I talked to when I ordered them shipped them from California to Ohio. When I called to check on them today the girl could not understand why she shipped from CA and not Florida. Ohio is closer to Fl than CA. I'm just hoping they are the right ones. I want the morter board grad cap with fuzzy ears. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

so mine arrived, in a box that looked like it had been on the track of Expedition Everest! Smashed, torn, one flap open-it was on my porch when I got home. They are the fuzzy ears that I ordered, so the right ones, only one of the boards is bent, I think from whatever the package went thru. I am going to call tomorrow, see if it is worth exchanging. Other than that they are awesome!

The one that I ordered arrived yesterday and they are the right ones with the fuzzy ears My DS will love them. I can not wait until closer to graduation to give them to him.

I was at DL today and I didn't see any plastic ear grad hats.

I bought a fuzzy ear one and it was the CM who suggested I get it embroidered. She said it's not a problem, the name just has to go off to the side.

I didn't actually get the one I bought embroidered though... thankfully, since I got it for my niece, but found out I'm a year ahead, she'll be needing 2013 ears. Duh moment for me!

Just wanted to let you all know the no embroidery rule may depend on who is working at the moment.

I will say I went through all of the ones on the shelf to find a pair I was happy with though. Some had the fabric pulled so tight the mortarboard looked like it was bent, some had puckers around the ears, one even had the inside lining flapping loose. I was a bit disappointed in the workmanship - but I admit I'm pretty picky that way.

I ordered today. I spoke with a very knowledgable woman (thank goodness!) when I called the second time. According to her the two codes are for two different things. 400005474712 is the the actual mortarboard graduation cap with fuzzy ears on it. 400005475467 is for Mickey ears with a small graduation cap in between the ears. I hope that helps!

Yes, I called the Parks Merchandise number and was able to order yesterday. The woman I spoke with wasn't very knowledgable but was very helpful! I am hopeful that I was able to get the right ones with the fuzzy ears. If not, DH will be happy with whatever we get!

I just received my DD's graduation ears in the mail today. They are the fuzzy ones. Love them. I am gong to ck and see if I can get her name done on them here locally. The ears were just over $27.00 with shipping to NY.

The first thing I said to my DB when he was buying them for me was, "Do not bend the hat" He called me and said all the boards on the ears are bent on one side. So I assume that is the way it is suppose to be.
