Anyone know when SSR will be sold out??

Does anyone here have a guesstimate about when SSR will be sold out?? Any word from guides or anything?

I just spoke to a CM at a DVC desk inside the GCH at Disneyland. He told me that they are VERY close to selling out at Saratoga Springs (within the next couple months, he said, they expect to be done selling there) and are focusing mainly on selling AKL DVC at this time.

He told me that if you want to buy in at SSR, NOW is the time to do it, as they are offering an incentive ($$$ credit) if you finance plus a $500 Disney gift card.

He told me that the DVC President was just at DLR last week, and they were finalizing the stuff to begin selling the villas at GCH. The models will be done in 2-3 weeks, and he said that Disney had been cleared to begin selling units whenever they want, but he added that they have not yet released the point charts or the price per point info as of yet.

There are some that have posted that certain use years are closer to being sold out than others. But many are likely saying it will be sometime this summer/early fall and they are waiting to announce KTV until that time(pure speculation on my part) I do believe that when it gets down to the wire there may be a rush of activity for those SSR owners who may want to add on before the incentives go away for good because from then on owners will have to add ons at full price. I would expect a call from my guide before this happens. Technically none of the DVC resorts are sold out as current members can buy points from disney at any of the DVC resorts you just have to pay list price and if they are available for a given UY.

I was told by my guide SSR is expected to sell out in the next 5 weeks.

I bought my DVCM yesterday and now they are selling out in the next three weeks. Hope that helps.
