Anyone know when Southwest & Frontier will release fares beyond Aug. 9?

I was just wondering if those experienced in watching fare releases, might have a guess when frontier air, or Southwest will open up their booking window to include September? Any guesses?

There is a transportation board that would be better for this thread.
I don't know about frontier. Southwest will be releasing flights through October on March 3rd (Monday!)

Frontier is typically on a very similar schedule to SW, so it will probably be within a few days of Monday, the 3rd.

To find out when Southwest is planning (could change) to release future travel dates, go to southwest.com and click on travel tools, on the bottom of the list is view all travel tools.
When you currently press that link the first line on the page tells you
"We are currently accepting air reservations through August 8, 2014. On March 3, 2014, we will open our schedule for sale through October 31, 2014. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently."

Very curious about this myself but we won't be traveling till the end of November...hopefully the flights will be out by the end of May so I know how our arrival and departure days look as far as ADR's go. We flew southwest last time to Orlando with a nonstop flight from Virginia...as of right now there are NO nonstop flights at all with any other airline. I hope southwest offers a flight that fits into our travel days because those nonstop flights are easier with my son and much cheaper too!

I just opened a new southwest card, and have never flown southwest before! Looking forward to the booking window opening. I have heard that you can cancel southwest flights is that true?(i mean without huge penalties) i want to book my tickets soon, if i need to change dates and booked on points southwest lets you correct? thanks for any help

Mar 3 is when the next schedule through the end of Oct will be released

Yes you can cancel flights for free. You must do so not later than 10 minutes before the flight takes off other wise you lose all your money.

You can reschedule for free if the fares go down or if you need to change your date.

Yes if you book with points the points will be redeposited to your acct
