Anyone know when do the Golden decorations come down?

I'll be bringing my friends in November. Will the anniversary stuff be gone - especially the beautiful castle decorations? I hope not

Technically the anniversary will be over, but they have not said if the decorations will stay or not. They may come down in stages like they went up, so some may still be there in November

Don't forget about the beautiful (very LARGE) INDUSTRIAL CRANE "decoration" that sits next to the castle for days/weeks as the castle-mounted decor is installed or removed.

I cast my one tiny vote for leaving them UP!

If they could leave up Mickey's arm along side Spaceship Earth and the Sorcerer's Hat in front of The Great Movie Ride that were installed for the millenium celebration that not many people like I would hope that they could leave the gold on the castle. But get rid of that cheap looking "mirror" on the front.

If I am not mistaken, the 50th Celebration doens't end until the end of '06. If you are going to Disney in November, they should still be up.

May 5, 2005 started the 18-month long 50th anniversary celebration.

May 05 to April 06 is 12 months.
May 06 to Oct 06 is 6 months.

If the celebration ends in Oct, will they start taking things down right away? How long would it take them to remove the decorations?

I called DISNEY..we are going in Sept...they said the 50 Anniversary would last till the end of Sept.

Nice, i really like the castle the way it looks. I'll be going again in August so ill get to see it one more time.
