Anyone know what the current incentive is....

....when buying directly from Disney? My guide called last night and I mentioned that we would be staying at VWL in about 10 days. I also mentioned that we have been looking at add on 70 - 100 points at SSR or 100 pts at BC. She said there are some "great" incentives going on for people staying on site and adding on. She claimed she could not reveal the actual incentive over the phone.

I am getting tired of looking for the "perfect" add-on through the time share. Everything in my use yr is either gone by the time I see it or stripped. I'm wondering if its just better to get exactly what I want from Disney and pay the extra per point. BTW - I did buy the original contract through the timeshare store and was happy with their services, but I don't feel like adding the internet to my phone just to scope out the perfect contract.

Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks.

We are going in 4 weeks and I am wanting to add on at that time as well. I would also love to know what in person incentives will be there for us!

We received an ad for a 3 night cruise on the Dream for up to 4 persons in an oceanview if we added on 100 points. That was a few weeks ago. Not sure if it has changed or that is the only incentive.

We didn't want a cruise and received $8/point credit on the contract last week for our purchase.

I don't want a cruise either and I did receive that flyer. I suppose its cash back, but whatever it is, she won't tell me until I get there. I will report back if its anything really spectacular.

Please let us know what you find out when you are there. I would love to get a great add on deal when we go next year. I know we can't afford to add on but can wish..........
