Anyone know what happened to the World's Fair for Kids in Orlando?

Hi-
Just wondering if anyone knows why it says on the World Fair for Kids' website that the dates are changing, come back soon? The original dates for the fair was April 15-23, 2006. Now supposedly they are changing the dates, but I have been keeping track for a week(since last Tues. Feb 28) and the website says,"dates are changing, come back soon". I think the fair is supposed to be at the Orange County Convention Center. I didn't buy tickets for it, but I have been entering the sweepstakes contest for about 2 straight months. The last day for the sweepstakes was Tues. Feb. 28. Here is the website for the fair: www.wfkids.com

PS. I posted a thread about this on the Community Boards a few days ago, but nobody knew any info. So, posting here.

Didn't hear a thing while we were in Florida...and local news loves to cover the happenings at the Convention Centre..

Wish I could help more..but I have no idea if it's cancelled or what..maybe a local DISer has heard something...and will post

I'm sorry to report that the Word's Fair for Kids has been cancelled for April '06. The latest report is that they plan to postpone it until Christmas Week of 2006 with possible live national broadcast. The reason for the delay is due to one of the major investors defaulting. I will keep you posted as I learn more.
