Anyone know the pick-up routes for shared buses?

Now, I know the Disney Transportation policy is that there are NO resort-to-resort buses.

However, after spending last week at WDW, I realized that several resorts "share" a bus route. For example, when we went from VWL to Animal Kingdom, we went to Poly and Grand Floridian to pick up more guests.

Now, if these pick-up routes were published, we could, in fact, go from resort to resort. For example, if we, staying at the VWL, had reservations for dinner at Citricos at Grand Floridian, if we knew the Animal Kingdom bus ran that route, we could go that way, instead of going to MK and then GF via boat/monorail.

Thoughts?

I think it depends on variables like crowds, season, time of day,,, if a bus stop is not inconvenient, you could always ask the driver which, if any, other resorts the bus is stopping at.

The only problem with planning on doing that is it's 'most likely' the way the routes go. YC/BC sometimes have their own route, but sometimes share with BW, S/D. Then at times, it's just BW, S/D. And CR 'usually' share with the Polynesian...and they sometimes share with the GF. Same with GF...sometimes all rolled up with CR, Polynesian. And sometimes, they add WL into that mix. it all depends on the time of year, time of day. It truly is 'magic on demand'. But, you can always ask the MK bus driver if they are stopping at any other resorts along the way.

I kinda thought it was a "fluid" situation.

By the way, we saw the oddest thing last week. We were on a bus from Boardwalk, headed for Downtown Disney.

Along the way, we stop at Swan, Dolphin, Yacht and Beach.

A couple gets on at Swan, and gets off at Dolphin. :confused3

I don't think your experience with the WL to AK bus stopping at GF and Poly is a regular thing. I expect it's only off-hours during slow times of the year.

The only situation where bus-sharing is a regular thing is some of the Epcot resorts: BWV- Swan - Dolphin, usually in that order.

All route sharing is completely dynamic ESPECIALLY the Epcot Resorts in the morning.

You should never count on a bus going to another resort, unless you specifically ask the driver of that particular bus.
