My oldest daughter and my oldest great niece (oldest grandaughter of my half sister) look SO much alike that they are often mistaken for twins even though they are technically 2nd cousins. The girls are just over a year apart and have almost identical builds - both skinny minnies with long legs, EXACT same hair color, very similar eyes and noses.
Today they noticed that each one of them is developing a small mole on their left leg in EXACTLY the same spot. Neither one has any other moles on them.
I have heard about identical twins developing cavities in the same teeth at the same time and things like that but the similarities between these 2 girls is just phenomenal.
Are these all just coincidences or did they just pull the same straws from the genetic family gene pool?
Both also have little sisters that they don't resemble at all (and no those 2 dont look like each other either).
