Anyone know if the El Cordova in SD allows children?

A strange question I know but we're heading to CA for the first time in April and spending a few days in SD. I've got my heart set on staying at the El Cordova on Coronado Island but when I was checking rates it only asked how many adults were in the party but no box to check for children. We'll have our 2yo with us and DH doesn't think it would be legal for them to exclude children but I've never been to a hotel website that doesn't have a box to check off for children so I'm baffled. Before I call them and sound like an idiot I thought I'd check here first to see if anyone knew.
