A bit of a complication here.. "Peeps" refuses to leave.. Now what?
This morning DD and DGD took the box he/she had been living in next-door (no one there for weeks to come - large backyard, wooded area - therefore safer for his flight).. Took "Peeps" out of the box and sure enough, he/she took flight.. That's the good part..
DD and DGD took the box back to their travel trailer and left it outside so my Dson-in-law could take it home tonight and dispose of it.. Then they all went down to the lake for the day.. Came back a little while ago - and guess who is back in the box? Yup - "Peeps".. LOL..
I think he/she has adopted DD and DGD.. Any chance he/she would be more inclined to leave on a permanent basis if they took him back to their house - the area where he was originally found (although he/she was "stuck" to the side of Dson-in-law's truck) and tried to get him/her to "leave" from there?
This bird is just plain weird.. LOL..
