There isn't much info on their site. Rates include hot breakfast. Curious about the pool.

Looks like I was looking at it wrong. It's actually on Manchester, near the Hojo. Even better location!

I am also curious about this location. I was debating between this and the Hotel indigo. It would be nice to get some info on the pool.

I think it's behind the new Courtyard being built. I don't know a lot except that I think they are open for reservations.

Looks like they may not be opening as planned I have a reservation for Oct 14th but not it says they are not accepting reservations until the 22nd of October waiting for confirmation from the hotel for what's going on

Anyone know what the walk would be like from this new holiday inn?
Thanks :)

I can confirm when we're at HOJO next week if I find time to run over there, but my guess based on location is that it would be a 10-15 minute walk depending on speed. This is based on my times of 8 minutes from Fairfield and 10 minutes from HOJO.

I just made a reservation for our family of 6 at the new Holiday inn Express & Suites Anaheim (1411 S. Manchester) resort today. They must be moving fast on construction because they are now accepting reservations for arrivals on or after October 3, 2015. I originally was looking forward to staying at the new Marriott Courtyard right next to the HI &E, however, we are only going to be staying 2 nights and I decided we would would be staying in the parks most of the time and really wouldn't get to enjoy their new waterpark. Plus, HI was about $70/night cheaper than Courtyard. HI &E serves a free breakfast, Courtyard does not. Also the parking at HI, even though it is still ridiculous at $15/night, is less than Courtyard's parking which is $20 a night.

If you look at Google maps https://www.google.com/maps/place/1...2!3m1!1s0x80dcd7d0235cf1e1:0x9c3e6bd0de690495 , they are literally right next door to each other, although HI is closer to the freeway. I requested a room on the opposite side of the freeway, so we'll see how it turns out. I hope since it's a new hotel, they will have good soundproofing.

I don't know anything about HI's pool, but the website says it is an outdoor pool. It's such a small property, I'm sure the pool will be very basic. One of the other Anaheim HI &E has a cute water splash pad for kids, so it'd be great if this one had one too. I'll be very curious to find out about parking because looking at google earth, it is a very small lot.

This would be great of you. I wonder if you could cut through the hotels in front of it instead of walking all the way around on the sidewalk.

Haha, well, I went back to the website today after making my reservation and now they are saying that they are accepting reservations for arrivals on or after October 17, 2015, instead of Oct 3. My reservation I made yesterday begins on the 16th, so I'm hoping they're planning on being open by then!

Were giving it a try in November when we wouldn't usually care about swimming. We usually go Hojo or CCI but even with the parking fee they came out cheaper.

On a side note, when I was checking out some rates for another trip I noticed the new Marriott was actually more expensive than PP on the dates I was checking when you factor in parking cost. I wonder who has the better water park?

I took the walk twice yesterday while I was visiting for whoever asked about distance. It took us 12 minutes to the security checkpoint, then coming back on tired feet after a full day, it was about 15 minutes. It's almost the same walk you'd have at HOJO, so not bad at all. It is going in behind the new Courtyard (which also looks amazing), so I'm not sure how the views will be with another hotel in front of them, but it looks nice. The road to get in was being paved while we were there and the whole area with both new hotels looks great.

Thankyou so much for checking the walking distance, i really appreciate it. Sounds like it is a doable walk.

Since the new HI and Courtyard are behind the HoJo, is highway noise likely to be an issue? I'm trying to decide between one of these two new options and the Doubletree for our December trip.

I'd like to know more his hotel as well. We are going at the beginning of December and want something close to the parks.
