I took them YEARS ago, like 25 years ago. At the time they were the standard test, grading ability in math, English, reading, etc. With the No Child Left Behind legislation, I'm not sure where they stand in regards to judging a child's progression.
DD11 took them when she was in 3rd grade. My other DD is in 4th grade this year and did not take them last year. I just looked through my school file and I can't find the paper (bad mommy!). I think that there were several sections including reading comprehension, math, problem solving, etc. I do remember that the results were very detailed. Hope this helps.
