Anyone know anything about Easy Bake Ovens?

I got mine for free at a church rummage sale leftover time -sort of like carry whatever you want out.

Its terrible. It takes really long, the stuff tastes terrible and it is just a space waster.

I should just put it up on freecycle when my daughter is at school.

You know a toy is bad when you get it for free and its still a pain.
 
When I was a youngster (OK--back in the 60's) I had an oven like an Easy Bake Oven, but it was a Suzie Homemaker oven. It looked like a real stove, just mini sized. I loved it and "cooked" all the time. My family still talks about the blue and green cakes I made. I just loved food coloring. I used lots of Jiffy mixes. My pan was larger than the Easy Bake's pan. It also uses a larger bulb if I remember correctly. Anyway, my dad rewired it for me when my DD was younger. We used Jiffys again and the cookie dough rolls. She loved it. Maybe I can get it out again if I get grandkids one day! I can't wait! Melissa
