anyone know about wedding packages?

ok..DH and i were actually married 9 years ago at the courthouse,,,well lo and behold,,,they have lost our wedding certificate,,,app for marriage license,,etc..soooo,,,,,in their eyes,,we have no weeding certificate,and after many years I want to change my name to my husbands(I kept mine in honor of my father who died the day we got our license) anyway....I guess we will get married again,....this will be 10 years(we got married YOUNG) and it seems like a great time to do it.I thought of suprsing DH(he wants to to this at some point or at least renew our vows)....any idea of what a SMALL package would cost?2 guests at the very very most,,,prolly just he and I anyway,,,,,cant do it if its very pricey....thanks!!!

there's a disposter over on the trip reports board, janet2k, who just did a vow renewal... you may want to read some of her reports and i am sure if you pm her she can point you in the direction of the disney wedding planner folks... they have sooo many different offerings in every imaginable price category that i am sure you will find "just the right thing" for you and your hubby!

You may want to call them and see if they could work with you. Tell them what you need and what is going on. Ya never know.

My own DH and I want to basically do the same thing you mentioned. Renew our vows.. just the two of us.. and maybe our two DDs attending. Nothing fancy.. just very very private and intimate.

I hope WDW would do something for people like us.

First of all Congratulations on your upcoming Anniversary! There are a ton of less expensive options for you... Disney's least expensive package is $2350 that doesn't include room or park tickets... Also you could contact the Dolphin and Swan resorts about your vow renewal they can most likely beat that price if you are willing to get rid of certain extras, like the reception, photography, certain decorations.
