Anyone know about toenail fungus?

There is a Dr's column in our paper... Dr Gott.

He recommends rubbing Vicks on nails to get rid of fungus. It takes awhile but people swear it works. And it's cheap.

I've not tried it so I can't say. YMMV

I did it and yes it does work...took about a month and I put it on twice a day.

My doctor would not subscribe the prescription that's available to me. She said that it causes liver damage and it's just not worth the risk. She suggested that I use a file to make the nail less thick and then put on polish.

I took this the RX for that nail fungus.November I was diagonosed with a Fat liver. So I have to talk to my doctor to see if that is what caused it.

I have used the products from zerofungus.com and it seems very effective for toenail fungus.I got relief immediately. If you wants better treatment for toenail fungus, just go for it.

Thanks
LOL, pretty good commercial for your first post. :lmao:

A 3 year old thread on toenail fungus? I'm sure there are better threads than this to resurrect.

I have been dealing with nail fungus for too long!

2-1/2 years ago I dropped a chair on my toe. I had all sorts of problems. Podiatrist gave me a cream to prevent the fungus, but it happened any way. I tried the vinegar, didn't work. Took the lamisil pill for 3 months, It was getting better, but got worse again. I tried the RX nail lacquer which made it worse. Just finished a course of 6 months of the lamisil and it is still there.

If anyone can find anything that works, let me know!
