I have done two Magic Music Days Programs with my sons' High School Band. This last trip I was in charge of almost everything including tickets and Meals.
When we went 4 years ago we gave each person 2 of those meal tickets per day. This time, two weeks ago, we gave them a $15 dollar Dining card per day. The reason for the change was because the meal tickets are only good for one meal at select dining locations.
Basically only the "main line" CS's where included (though things may have changed). At MK no Columbia Harbor house. At Epcot nothing but the Liberty Inn and Electric Umbrella. At DHS Toy Story Pizza and one other one I don't remember. Our group has 7th to 12th graders, from a few 70 lb girls who only want to eat soft pretzels to 6'5" 260 boys who could bankrupt a "all you care to eat" TS.
Most would waste money on the meal tickets because its really not a good deal. There really isn't any break with the ticket. If you don't get the side salad at Pizza Planet or the cookie, you've lost money on the deal. Also I could only come up with a few full meals that came to $14.
Oh and for the price for us it was $9 for breakfast, $14 for lunch/dinner. Dance groups may get a different price but I wonder if the organizers are bumping up the price to make more money.
