anyone know about a marathon weekend LE pin?

Mt DH has his heart set on one of the LE marathon pins-the half marathon one that is a mini replica of the medal given to runners. On one site it said it was being released when marathon registration begins on Thur. When I go to the disney pin site- it says it is being released on the 10th. Anyone know anything about it?

DH is in the half this year. (Has been in the full, half or Goofy for years now.)
According to Pinpics:
Pin 67439: WDW - 2009 Marathon - Mickey Finisher's Medal, is being released the 11th.
Pin 67440: WDW - 2009 Half Marathon - Donald Duck Finisher's Medal, is being released the 10th.
Pin 67441: WDW - 2009 Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge - Goofy's Finisher Medal, is being released the 11th.

DH is wondering if they will be at the expo, which starts Thursday. And I think he is going there Thursday.

They should be released on Thursday at 1:00pm if I remember correctly.

DH was there today and bought the medal pins. He figured they very well be sold out some time today. He said the line was fairly long and those in line were handed raffle tickets. Without a ticket, no pin purchase.

I am sad, sad , sad. I don't get there until tomorrow. There will be no medal pins for me.
At least I will be happy to be in WDW !
I won't be happy when I finish 13.1 miles on Saturday.
I WILL be happy having lunch at Beaches and Cream after the run!
Such mixed feelings ....

DH went back this morning after the Circle of Life 5k. They still had plenty of pins remaining at that time, and really did not seem to be promoting them well. So you probably got what you wanted!

I got to the Expo later than planned today and they only had the Goofy replica pin so I did get that one. I really liked how they had everything so spread out. Getting my bib number and browsing through the booths were effortless. I am tucked in my room listening to the Illuminations fireworks outside. It's great to be back at Disney .
