anyone know about a device that allows incoming calls while surfing the net?

I recently saw a commercial for something that you can plug your phone, computer & fax into. Anyone familiar with this? or know another way not to tie up the phone line (short of getting a 2nd line)? Thanks for your help!

We have a DSL line so it isn't an issue. Before that we had 2 lines but that gets very costly.

Good Luck

LOL isn't DSL great? But seriously, use either callwave or check this out: at wal-mart, they have this box that lights up when you get an incoming call on the tied up line. I don't remember what it was called, but a friend has one & it seems to work spiffily well!

DSL or
call fowrard your land line to your cell phone.

if it's what i'm thinking of, it knocks you offline if you take the call.

With CallWave you can actually hear the person calling over your speakers. It is like an answering machine and once you hear the person, you can decide whether or not you want to get off line and call the person back. It is totally free - I used to have it, but have DSL now. I think for a fee you can get a more advanced version. I really liked it, because I could tell who was calling and hear their message.
