These two guys on the radio said they are lookin for someone like Tom Cruise or Dudley Hoffman, you know...someone everyone would know....and that would be the winner for sure...
But I don't see that happening....

Wow! I just read this thread! It was toooooooo funny! I WORK for a celebrity. I would not ask him to do this, though. You simply would not believe the things that people will ask.

If they had the time to answer the requests, they'd have no time to do whatever they are famous for!

It was mostly that they were calling on behalf of a friend of thier own.
Some of the runners up were Capt. Lou Albano (Wrestler), Jose Feliciano, The Horn Player for Billy Joel.

They also had Wendy from the Snapple Commercials, a few extras from movies....one woman that is on the Lyons Den and was on ER for a year too, her name escapes me.

Anyway....It has been an interesting week here.
I need to work for a celeb, how does one get a job like that??

I've been here almost 7 years and I'm STILL trying to figure out how I got the job!!!!!!

I am blessed. I am also partly insane with a wicked sense of humor. Gotta laugh at most things or I'd have VERY high blood pressure!

This doesn't sound modest, but my ability to handle ALL situations (with humor) is what my boss appreciates most.

No worries!! I realized today that they were giving away front row seats but they were also giving away 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th row seats to the runner ups.....man! I would have taken any of those!!

I'm sorry Stacey, I could've asked Bryan Trottier former NY Islander, former Head Coach of the NY Rangers and 6 time Stanley Cup winner and Hockey Hall of Famer. I think that may have trumpped Hernandez.

I don't know if he would've done it, or even been around (he travels alot). I just thought they were looking for like a Madonna type of celeb.

Well I mean I guess Keith would beat out Captain Lou Albano, Jose Feliciano, Wendy the Snapple Lady, The Horn Player in Billy Joels band, and the Drummer from Alice Cooper.....

Pluse we are right on the border of NY so the two guys that judged the contest (the hosts of the morning show) are big Baseball fans....so I guess if I had someone in sports I might have at least gotten one of the pairs of tickets!!
