Anyone just starting out looking for DISigns - learn from my mistake!

Hey all,

I have just spent hours and hours going through the various disigns, logos, etc that I had downloaded from 4shared, photobucket etc.... I didn't realise I had so many until each sub-folder started to look like the contents were the same.

It has taken me all night to move them in to categories (like mickeyheads, restaurants, gift tags etc)..... I so wish I'd have thought about it at the beginning and done it as I went along - but I was so caught up in how amazingly brilliant everything was that I didn't stop to breathe!

Thanks again to all the fab DISigners here, past and present (and future!) - makes vacations wholly more magical

I agree that the designers on here are AMAZING!

I also encourage you to save the files with the same name (jpg) that the DISigner used. (and keep track of who that was) That way if you want any revision or update you have both who to ask and what file to use.

That is a really good point Marion, thank you. I wish that I had a clue who made what, I literally have no idea now (other than Natalie's stars) and the ones that were made from an actual request by me. Its so annoying when you have done everything you want, and do a thank you thread and not be able to thank the individual DISigners for their work.

To anyone new - think about it before you start!

I keep a list near my computer with the designers names, and what design I would like to request from them. I put the date and page, and post number down. A few times I have forgotten those details and I get so frustrated..so I understand what you are saying..
