The HUB is getting (slowly) better. However, as of yesterday (8/26), the walls are still up outside Cinderella Castle, so you can't enter or exit through it. Could see workers in there in the morning and still looks like they're going to be there for atleast another week or two. Not saying it's a good/bad thing, that's just what it looks like at the moment. The new pathway in the HUB area that was opened recently is a big help, and a lot of the building areas surrounding now have grass, plants and trees instead of dirt and diggers.
Crowds were ok today at MK, much better than previous weeks. Just make sure to go in with a good plan (getting to parks no later than 30 mins before opening etc.), although they will continue to drop, especially with all the visitors from the UK that should be leaving by the end of this current week. Even Wishes tonight wasn't that crowded, still a bit of space to in the HUB unlike the crammed way it's been since end of May. EPCOT has only been getting projections of around 24,000-30,000 guests per day this current week which isn't that busy.
As for FP's and ADR's, if you're still looking for something that's currently unavailable, just keep trying and trying. Managed to get a Chef Mickey's breakfast ADR (7:25am) on Tuesday eveing through
MDE app (25/8) for yesterday (26/8). Also, managed to A&E FP's for our 2nd additional FP of the day (2 of us in total).
