My DH came to me last night saying that he wants to go on one of the Disney two-hour bass fishing excursions out of DTD on either Tuesday, October 16th or Thursday, October 18th at 7am or 10am.

Well I called today and it is $235 :scared1: for up to FIVE people. Well he would be alone and I hate to spend that much for him. I mentioned that I could see if anyone on here would be interested in going to help get the cost down for everyone. Heck I would be fine with two people at $117.50 each.

If you, your family, your DH would be interested please PM me, we are flexible on either of those dates. We would do it as a family, but I think that my DH would get more enjoyment out of it without our 2 and 5 year old daughters.

I wish we were going at the same time! My group is going in Jan, and my dad and uncle would LOVE to go on that trip...

darn!!! :sad1:

Good luck! I hope you find someone! If your DH does go, have him do a report on it! I would love to see what it's like!

I certainly will...I am not sure if he will do it if he can't find at least one other person. If he can't we will wait to do it in like a year or so.

How long are you staying at Disney? I'd be interested but I don't arrive until the 22nd to Nov 2.

I just wanted to add that the $235 is really not too bad for the type of fishing excursion they're offering. I think the critical thing is how long you actually have to fish, if you're casting line inside of 10 minutes, the overall value is comparable to what's offered in the local area.

I did a search in the local area up there and couldn't find anything that was better as far as price. Everything's about the same neighborhood. The difference is that most offer a 4 hour tour. Since Disney stocks the local lakes, it may just be that you don't have too far to go.

Hope you enjoy! Don't forget the suntan lotion, you're gonna cook when the sun hits otherwise.

Thanks for the information, I know that it isn't a bad value at all...it would just be nice to have it a little bit less...that means more spending money. I still might sign him up for it...we will see.

Darling, is that YOU? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sorry, couldn't resist!

Best Regards,

:rotfl: :rotfl: Yeah it is me...but he doesn't want to spend that much either :rotfl: :rotfl:

I am kinda dabating just bringing the whole family...the girls will be 3 and 6, so they could still enjoy it and 2 hours isn't that long.
