Anyone interested in an evening Houston meet on 3/17?

Well that was a lot of fun!


OK. It's a 45 min drive at best for me to get down there. I talked my WAY expecting DD to go with me and we couldn't find a soul! We even paged for DIS members! What happened?

Kirk, I am so very sorry!!! What time did you get there? I got there a little after 8 and waited in the bar area. Barry was running a little late. We ate in the restaurant and never heard your page. Had he given you his cell number?? I guess we should have picked a more specific place to meet. I truly am sorry you came all that way for nothing.

We got there at a 1/4 to 8, ate in the restaurant until about 8:30, walked thru the bar looking during that time, put word in at the front desk, kicked around the bar and back in the midway for about 30 to 45 minutes trying to look obvious, paged around 9 for other DIS members and called it a night at about 9:15. I left word both at the front desk and with the ushers at the door upon arrival but no one else did. Sure you guys wanted to be found? Really got me feeling like eeyore tonight!

You don't drive a beetle with dopey, sleepy, etc. do you?

Dave and Busters is AWESOME! I've been to the one in Jacksonville FL and thought it was the coolest!!!

I really thought you'd leave word or at least check in at the front desk. But then this was the first official DIS meet I've been able to make so I don't really know how you guys organize these things
