I have a neice that is moving to England and I would like to know what are the popular clothes there rightnow? What is the look? She is 13. Also where can I go to get her these clothes?

I think English fashions are pretty much the same as American fashions really it just depends. A lot of kids over here wear the baggy stuff with jeans and hooded jackets with band logos on. Bright colours are also in at the moment, oranges, pinks, yellows. New look is quite a popular high street shop so you could look in the teen section on their website to get some ideas on www.newlook.co.uk or try Top shop, another high street store on www.topshop.co.uk. This should give you a few ideasI hope it helps.

Alright...from an American stationed over here...I've noticed:

A) They are VERY stylish over here. From the haircuts down the boots.

B) Girls like to wear boots (usually knee high, my ex-fiance called them "hooker boots")

C) Skirts...especially really short ones. Even the school uniforms are pretty scandalous.

D) Warm clothes...this country is friggin freezing.

E) And yes, I'm talking about the 13 year olds in reference to the above. This country's fashion actually creeps me out a little.

Oh I forgot about the boots! Boots are very fashionable with skirts (I own 4 pairs, although I'm 27 and my friends and I refer to them as hooker boots too!!) 13 year olds over here do tend to dress like mini 20 odd year olds. It kind of creeps me out too and I'm English!!
