Anyone in the parks today?

We are going tomorrow and I'm concerned about the heat. It looks like it is maybe 100 in the parks right now. Hopefully it's not as bad as the weather apps show.

It's pretty warm, but the crowds have been low and a nice breeze has kicked in during the last hour. Mix in some shows and indoor dining during the hottest hours and make sure you stay hydrated.

It's insanely hot but the park is pretty empty. Saturdays have been better than Sundays though so who knows how tomorrow will be. It's like walking around in an oven out here.

Heading up from San Diego as I type this.

We wanted to wait so it would be around 80 degrees by the time we get there.

It looks like the crowds are very light based on the App wait times.

It's supposed to push 90 tomorrow so if anything I hope the crowds stay as light as they seemed to be the last two days. 90 degrees AND crowds sounds pretty miserable. Oh well, we will see!

As mentioned, hot but crowds are ideal. Less crowded than yesterday. Got our 6:00pm RSR fastpasses at 2:30pm. Food lines are short. Let's of free ice water. Was in Tuck n Rolls bumper cars. God that was miserable with no breeze or air flow. Much more humid today than yesterday, but the breeze picked up late afternoon.

Agree that the parks have been pretty warm the last few days but it's manageable. Drink lots of water, do indoor rides that are air conditioned like POC and HM. I was surprised to see crowds were much lower today then yesterday or Thursday. POC had one side only open this afternoon.

We just got home from an impromptu trip. I was looking at the app on the way home from grocery shopping and saw that crowds were really light and we could still get a dinner rezzy at Napa Rose, so I made that, we drove home & put all the groceries away, then drove across town. Got to GCH just before 7:00. Went into DCA & pulled Soarin' FPs at 7:00 with a 7:10 return. Looked in the shop for a few minutes, then popped over & rode. Then we crossed over to DL, walked to Indy, grabbed FPs at 7:35 with a 7:30 return time. We were in the ride vehicle by 7:55 (the people walking in front of us were going sooooooo slow!!! - and one of them was vaping in line for Indy :( ). Then we shopped our way back out of the park & headed to Napa Rose. Got there at 8:35 for a 9:00 rezzy and were seated within a minute or two. All in all, a nice evening! And as we were waiting for our car at the valet at GCH, we saw Viola Davis also waiting for her car. :)

Forgot to mention, it was definitely warm and some things weren't as cool as I expected they would be - like Indy - it was actually pretty warm in the line - and the shops on Main Street. The lobby at GCH was nice and icy cold though.

Well we are here today. The crowds were pretty light this morning. It's really hot. It felt manageable up until about 1:00/2:00, then I was feeling it pretty bad. Went back to the hotel to cool off in the AC and take a nap (except my 2 year old refuses to nap... wheeeeeee). Planning on heading back around 6:00. Hopefully the temps will have dropped a bit by then.

Definitely take a 15 minute dip in the hotel pool if that's an option. It will cool your core down enough to make the heat feel much less intense for a couple of hours.

That is an option, thank you for the suggestion. It is exactly what I plan on doing if this kid doesn't fall asleep in the next 20 minutes! Omg, I don't know how my child has such stamina!

It doesn't get easier when they get older, either! On my Mom/Daughter trip with my 11 year old DD, I insisted on naps the first two days and then we were easily able to stay until midnight both nights. On our third day, DD sweet talked me into just a swim and no nap. We still stayed in the parks until midnight that night, but I'm pretty sure I was sleepwalking while DD was doing just fine!
