Going to be there over the long weekend for a hockey tournament for 7-8 year olds. We will be all arriving on Thursday evening and since many places are closed, it might be a struggle to feed everyone. Does anyone know of a god pizza place that might be open? Tia

Columbus, Ohio?
I live near Dayton but I believe Domino's is open all year long.

Cici's pizza buffet is cheap and they have 4 in the Columbus area.

What part of town will you be staying? If you are near Easton and the Chiller, no problem. If you're near OSU and their ice, might be more of a challenge but there are plenty of ethnic spots that may be open. I could check for you. PM me with your approximate location.

Not sure what type of food you are looking for, but I saw a commercial for Hometown Buffet saying that it was open on Thanksgiving.

Please let us know where you'll be. I'm near Chiller North and would be willing to do a little research if that's where you'll be.

You guys are the best :goodvibes. We are staying just 2 blocks from Nationwide arena .... I don't know what the area is called. Since we are such a large party ... 17 players plus parents and siblings, takeout might be our best option. Or even a buffet and we could split in half and eat in shifts. :rotfl2:
I will check out all the ones suggested. Thanks!!!!

With a crew like that, I'd do Hometown. Also check out their website for group rates and a free coupon for a meal if you enter your email address.
I hope you are staying at a nice hotel in the Nationwide area. We like the DoubleTree ( free breakfast and internet). The parking is pricey ($16). Arnold Classic experience here. No hockey. Really good evening meal, BD's Mongolian Grill. They eat all they want, the cooks are great. $11 PP and in that area that is a good price.

A lot of the restaurants in the Nationwide Arena area are used to hosting large crowds. Buca di Beppo is a great place, it can be more pricey, but they do family style pizzas, salads, entrees, so that when with a large crowd it breaks down more reaonably. They do large crowds with reservations.

Here is a link to other restaurants close by:

Also, within a few blocks, is what's called the North Market...kind of like a large food court with booths of all types of ethnic foods from Italian (pizza), Asian, Middle Eastern, sandwiches, soups, desserts, etc. Pretty reasonably priced and something for everyone. Not sure what their hours are, though.

Enjoy your visit to Columbus!
