Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

Me neither. I never had issues.

I'm here now and I also didn't have any problems doing this trips' fastpasses either.

I must say I love love love this. This is working like a breeze. I even changed some of our times around 11:00 yesterday and plenty of fp times were available. For the headliner rides as well.

Can't wait till December.

So You were able to change your fastpasses the night before you went into the park today? Thats pretty cool!!!!!

So do you just scan your magic band in the the fastpass line to get on the rides? How do they know its your turn to ride? Might sound silly of me to ask this question. (Sorry) Just trying to figure this whole thing out before we go!

Thanks!

You will see a pole with a round top that's grey with a Mickey Head "etched" on the "screen". When you match the Mickey Head on your MB to the Mickey Head on the pole, it will turn Green if you are arriving at your registered FP+ time, or Red if incorrect. The CM manning the machine will then wave you forward into the line.

FP+ times can be changed as many times as you want leading up to the time your current selections become "active"... (Based on the current availability), so if you decide to change up your day, you can always use the app on your phone, and adjust your plans if passes remain available for when you would rather/what you would rather experience.

Thanks for the info!!!!! Glad you are having a magical time!!!!!! :cool1:

I have one night booked onsite and have annual pass. Can I make fast pass selection past my resort stay? I thought I could and the site will not let me. Thanks in advance.

seems they recently (like past several days) have locked it all down to resort stays only

I arrive on 30th dec, and the MDE account says I can't yet book my Fastpass plus reservations - is this right?

I have heard that you can't do it until the 60 day mark (which for me won't be until Thursday this week), but then I keep seeing posts by others who already have FP+ bookings for those dates.

Anyone have any ideas why I can't make mine yet?:rotfl2:

use the mobil app and try letting it do "fast picks" where it picks for you. That's the bug we exploited to get prior to 60 days.

if that bug is still open- Once you have some FP+'s you can change the times or attractions WITHIN the park it assigns you. You can't change parks only at 60 days.

I don't see why you are worried. There are tons of times open. No need to exploit a bug or whatever. You will be perfectly fine at 60 days, even at 45 days there is plenty to choose from!

i was never worried- i just like to fiddle and poke around at buggy websites.

It was fun to discover something new.

Also I'm well into my 60 days now- i was just trying to share what i discovered to try and help someone else. Maybe they are worried or just excited and want to play a week early- I dont see a problem with them getting to play like the rest of us.

if disney fixes their bugs then so be it.

currently i'm playing around to try and find a way in so i can book an AP FP+ prior to my resort stay. Maybe i'll find one. It will be fun if i do. If i dont then such is life- no big deal

I've got to say, all of these reports of enjoyable trips with fastpass+ and the Magicbands are getting me more and more excited for our upcoming trip. I have had some pretty major problems but as we get closer they are ironing out and I am just so excited to see the Christmas festivities and have this time with my family. Thank you for the positive reports. :goodvibes

How do I copy fast passes from one person to another?
It's one of the options when you go in to change a current FP+ in your plans. Not sure if you can have it "drop from one and added to another" but you can copy to the person you want to hold the FP+ and then go in and change the original holders plans by repeating the process but instead of choose copy, you would select "change".

Can you elaborate on this or link me to a thread that discusses this?

Maggie

DebbieB in that thread also had some issue
But there's otehr reports in that thread that seem to indicate previously that was not the case (or for some it is still not the case?)

there's also this thread:

robo states only resort guests (but doesn't list a source)
and again others in that thread report that's not the case for them

from the different reports i assumed (I know I know-lol) that it's a recent change. But who knows maybe it depends on your last name, birth date, favorite color, lol. :confused3

Did any Dec checkins just get the invite letter in the mail too? I received it yesterday. Nothing earth shattering, but it was near to get some fun mail.

I booked our trip yesterday for December 4th-9th and as soon as I logged on to My Disney Experience it was there for me to customize and select FP+ options. We are staying at Coronado Springs in a preferred room if that helps anyone. : )

35 days and counting!!!!!pixiedust:

We arrive mid-day on January 5th and are going into HS to see the final day of the Osbourne Lights. I've been worried that getting into HS late afternoon on the last day of the lights would mean that we wouldn't get our choice FPs for the rides we wanted.

But I was also able select FP for that afternoon using the MDE App and the FP Picks. I stumbled upon it by accident but I was really happy that I could go ahead and make FP choices for that afternoon. But it only worked for that day - I couldn't make any selections for the rest of our trip.

Thanks. We have a trip booked for December but we really wanted to stay offsite. My girls are teens and it is getting too hard to stay in a regular hotel room. We need two bathrooms!!!

But right now I have an onsite stay booked at Pop. But I was thinking about switching from all onsite to first night onsite with rest offsite. However, with these reports I am second guessing.

Luckily we have a room only booked. So I can wait to decide until 5 days before the trip.

I am wondering if the issues that are being experienced are just with APs? We have regular 5 day tickets linked.
